Mapei UK required a dependable contractor to take over the planned servicing and ongoing maintenance of industrial doors across multiple sites. Frequent breakdowns and slow response times from previous providers were disrupting daily operations. Given the pace and precision required in their manufacturing processes, rapid, reliable support was essential.
WDC introduced a national Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) contract, designed to proactively identify and resolve issues before they led to downtime. Our first round of servicing brought all industrial doors up to current health and safety standards, eliminating compliance risks.
By shifting from a reactive model to a proactive maintenance strategy, we helped Mapei reduce operational disruption and take control of long-term access management across their estate.
Since implementing the PPM programme, Mapei has seen a significant drop in emergency callouts and unplanned downtime.
